Clip One from the play "East Lynne"
By Theresa Shell
Starring Christa Woomer as Lady Isabel

"East Lynne" is a melodrama/comedy from the 1860's (think Snidley Whiplash) that Christa produced in Los Angeles with her own production
company, not once, but twice over the course of two years because of being brought back by popular demand by standing room only and sold
out audiences. TChrista starred as the heroine of the story, the much beleagured (and hysterically funny) Lady Isabel.

In this scene, a dying Lady Isabel, in disguise as the new nanny, returns to her former home from which she is banned to see her beloved son
Willie, who is also dying.  Willie does not remember his mother, but finds out from the new nanny that she knew his mother before and Willie
questions, "Will I see my mother in heaven", Isabel tells him that is her hope.  Willie begins to feel ill and lays his head in her lap and promptly
dies, before ever calling her mother.

Due to the fact that this video was made during a live theatre performance you may have to adjust your volume to compensate for the
laughter of the audience.
